East Coast Accommodation

The East Coast is the island's classic resort coast, with long beaches and a wide lagoon from Poste Lafayette through Belle Mare and Palmar to Trou d'Eau Douce and Beau Champ. Most stays are resort-based, with guesthouses and smaller hotels around Trou d'Eau Douce and the north-east villages. The coast faces the trade winds, which keep it fresh and can make it breezy in winter.
