We use official and authoritative sources wherever possible and link to them. Facts that change — such as entry rules, opening hours, fees and transport details — are dated when checked, and you should confirm them with the relevant authority before you travel.
We do not invent prices, availability, ratings, review scores, distances, driving times or first-hand experiences.
Accommodation and activity listings
Accommodation is listed only when a property has an exact, current listing on an established booking platform. Descriptions are written from verifiable facts and are not copied from supplier marketing. Prices and availability are set by the booking provider, not by us.

Editorial images are credited. Where an image shows a destination rather than a specific property or experience, it is not presented as showing that property or experience.
Responsible travel
We write about living communities and natural sites with respect, and we encourage travellers to follow local guidance, dress codes at religious sites and the rules of protected areas.
